Uhuru’s fresh bid stop the case against him in the ICC

President Uhuru Kenyatta
Kenya’s fourth president's trial which is scheduled to begin  on 12th of November has raised a lot of concern. Initially president Uhuru Kenyatta wanted a local tribunal, but this time round he wants the case against him stop. This is due to reason that the prosecution witnesses have been well trained and they are working closely with the court against the accused. According to his lawyer, if found that a court irregularity exist then he is here to stay unlike the initial order to appear before the international criminal court.

Uhuru’s move has also been catalyzed by intimidation of defense witness as cited by his defense team.  This is because there will be no cooperation between the witness and the defense team. This has drain his confidence against the court ruling and therefore been there in person is equally same as avoiding the process since everything seem to be predetermine.
