Kidney
cancer diagnoses have drastically increased and consequently killed many all
over the world.
According to Public Health England (PHE), the rise is attributed
to unhealthy lifestyles that include smoking and consumption of genetically
modified foods. Smoking and obesity both hikes the chances of kidney cancer.
However, early diagnosis could play a crucial role in lowering the death rates.
Research
shows that when kidney cancer is identified at the earliest stage, the one-year
endurance rate is close to 97%, unlike late diagnosis which has a one-year survival
rate of 32%.
Noticeable blood while urinating is a symptom in more
than 80% of bladder cancer patients and in most of those with kidney cancer.
Possible indications of Kidney Cancer
- Blood spots in urine
- Sudden urge to urinate, or need to pass urine very often
- Pain while passing urine
