Today, the
UN rejected the Africa bid to halt the ICC cases facing Kenyan Leaders, President Uhuru Kenyatta, and Deputy President Hon. William Ruto. Of all
the 15 member states, eight abstained thus the motion did not pass. For a
motion to pass, it requires a vote of nine member states.
The resolution was proposed by Rwanda and seven members of the Security Council - including Russia and China - voted in favour.
could this be the beginning of a rift between Africa and the west???
